Product description
Our aluminum Venetian blind with 25 mm slats combines functionality, design, and high-quality materials to create a versatile shading solution for your home or office. The horizontal aluminum slats can be tilted continuously, allowing you to control how much light enters the room and how much privacy you desire. With precise light control, you can create the exact atmosphere that suits your room and daily routine – from pleasantly bright to comfortably shielded.
Made from robust aluminum, the slats are particularly durable, dimensionally stable, and resistant to corrosion and discoloration. This ensures your blinds maintain their attractive appearance even with daily use. The smooth, easy-to-clean surface makes cleaning particularly simple – a gentle wipe is enough to remove dust or dirt.
Thanks to the slim 25 mm slat width, the blind appears elegant and modern, takes up little space in the window frame, and is also suitable for small windows or rooms with limited depth.
The aluminum Venetian blind is custom-made and can be mounted on almost all windows. It is an ideal solution for living rooms, studies, kitchens, or bathrooms, combining functional efficiency with timeless, high-quality design.
Product Details
The height of the blind when pulled up is approximately 35mm (headrail and bottom rail) + 25 mm per 1 meter of blind height (slat stack). Therefore, a blind with a height of 1 meter will have a height of approx. 60 mm (6 cm) when pulled up. There may be slight color deviations between slats, rails, cords, ladders, and other parts. The operation of the blind is made possible by so-called ladder cords, which are guided through the slats from top to bottom during manufacturing. For this purpose, the aluminum slats are punched. The number of these ladder cords depends on the blind width:
| Width | Number of ladder cords |
| 260 - 699 mm | 2 |
| 700 . 1349 mm | 3 |
| 1350 - 1799 mm | 4 |
| 1800 - 2199 mm | 5 |
| 2200 - 2400 mm | 6 |

Installing blinds -
the right mounting option for everyone
One of our greatest strengths is the flexible installation of the blinds. You can choose between classic mounting with screws or the practical clamp mounting without screws or drilling.
Drill-free installation with clamp mount
Suitable for: openable windows
The quickest and easiest installation method is fastening with clamp brackets. Our clamp holders are simply clipped over the top of the window sash. The blind hangs securely on the window sash, leaving no traces or drill holes.
This clamp mounting is ideal for rental apartments.
Assembly with screws
Suitable for: all window types
Mounting options:
• Screwing to wall/ceiling
• Screwing to window sash
This is the most discreet and stable mounting option: The blind brackets are firmly attached to the wall, ceiling, or window sash with screws. This ensures the blind is secure and inconspicuous. The screw holes are barely visible later; in rented apartments, they can easily be filled again when moving out (e.g., with a little silicone).
How to measure blinds correctly –
a guide
Determine the mounting method: First, consider how the blind should be mounted – using clamp brackets on the window sash, screws directly onto the glazing bead, or screwed to the wall/ceiling. This will determine how you calculate the width and height.
Clamp or screw onto the window frame
The order width is determined by measuring the glass width plus the overhang. Important: The overhang must be chosen so that the window handle remains unobstructed.
The order height corresponds to the wing height.
For which windows are our blinds suitable?
From balcony doors to fixed glazing – thanks to custom manufacturing, your blinds will fit perfectly.
Single-sash standard windows
- Ideal for classic single-sash windows (most common type)
- Free choice of mounting position: in the frame, on the sash, or in front of the recess
- Precisely made to measure, without light gaps or protrusions
Double-hung windows
- For double windows, we recommend a separate blind for each sash
- Both halves remain independently operable
- Attached to the sash with a clamp or screw and moves with the sash when opened
Balcony Doors & Patio Doors
- Blinds also available for patio doors
- Blind opens with the door, so no need to raise it
Fixed glazing (non-opening windows)
- Also suitable for fixed glazing (e.g. fixed glass panels or skylights)
- Installation with screws directly into the glazing bead is necessary
- Clamp mounting not possible as there is no window sash
Construction limits of our blinds
Our blinds are suitable for almost all common window types. Whether it's a small bathroom window or a tall patio door – we offer solutions for every installation situation:
Maximum Sizes
-> Width: From 260 mm to 2400 mm (corresponds to 26-240cm)
-> Height: From 300 mm to 2400 mm (corresponds to 30-240cm).
Our blinds cover a wide range of sizes. Very narrow or very small windows (e.g., 30–40 cm wide) can be equipped just as easily as larger areas. We manufacture your sun protection system as a single element up to 240 cm wide and 240 cm high – this corresponds, for example, to the dimensions of a floor-to-ceiling balcony door window. For even wider fronts, you can easily install two or more blinds next to each other. These can be placed directly next to each other to form a visual unit.

FAQ
How do I care for and clean a blind?
Light dust can easily be removed with a duster or cloth. Dirt is best removed with a damp cloth.
Can I attach the blind without drilling?
Yes. Our blinds are designed so that you can mount them without drilling if you wish. There are clamping brackets available that offer a firm hold without drilling into the window frame. The clamping solution can be removed without leaving any residue. Of course, you can also screw them in the traditional way if you wish – just as you like.
Are the blinds suitable for large windows or balcony doors?
Absolutely! We manufacture blinds up to 2.4 m wide and also in door heights (over 2 m) as a single unit. For very wide windows, you can also install two blinds side by side – this covers the entire area completely. Balcony doors can also be fitted.
How long does it take to deliver a custom-made blind?
Since each blind is individually manufactured, the delivery time is usually a few working days. You can see the exact delivery time directly during the ordering process.
Can I return a custom-made blind?
Since this is a custom-made item, a standard return is not possible. However, should something not fit or be defective, we will of course find a solution.
Which type of mounting should I choose for my blind?
For renters, mounting options without drilling are particularly suitable. Clamp mounting allows for a quick and residue-free installation. If you're buying blinds for your own home, screw mounting is also a good option for a secure and stable long-term installation.
Screw mounting is also ideal for fixed glazing, as clamp mounting is not possible here.
What material is the blind made of?
The slats, as well as the top and, if applicable, bottom rails, are made of powder-coated aluminum. The tilt wand and other components for controlling the blind are made of high-quality plastic.
What color are the other attachments next to the louver?
The top profile, bottom profile, cords, and plastic parts are color-matched to the slats. However, minor color variations may occur, which do not affect the overall appearance.
Are the blinds also suitable for skylights?
If you are interested in blinds for roof windows, please contact our customer service. The best way to reach them is by email at info@clipnshade.de
How much are the shipping costs?
Shipping to Germany is free. Shipping to Austria costs €5.90. For shipments to Italy or France, shipping costs are €9.90, and to Switzerland approximately CHF 20.
Since shipping costs vary from time to time, this information may not reflect the current price. Therefore, please check the shipping costs directly on the product page for your desired item. To do this, add it to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
Which shipping provider will deliver my products?
Due to the large product dimensions, the choice of shipping providers is limited. We therefore ship with UPS.
Can I use the blind in the bathroom (damp rooms)?
Yes. Our Venetian blinds are made of moisture-resistant materials. The aluminum parts do not rust and are also suitable for bathrooms or kitchens. Unlike, for example, wooden blinds, which can be problematic in wet rooms, aluminum slats retain their shape and surface in humid environments. Just make sure to ventilate regularly to prevent condensation from building up – this protects both the material and the room climate. Overall, our Venetian blinds are very easy to clean and a popular solution for bathrooms.
