by Richard Koch
Our external sun protection roller blinds offer effective heat protection and are easy to retrofit.
The CLIP'N'SHADE sunshade roller blind
What makes our sunshade roller blind so special? What does CLIP'N'SHADE stand for? We believe that good exterior sunshades shouldn't require drilling. That's why we developed our drill-free sunshade roller blind. It's simply clipped (angled) into the top and bottom of the window frame. The window and the seal remain undamaged. The sunshade is installed from the inside, so no scaffolding is needed. You also don't need any special tools – everything required for professional installation is included.

This is how the clamp roller blind works
Because our sunshade roller blind is mounted on the outside, the special heat-reflective fabric reduces over 90% of heat radiation! The sun's energy is intercepted before it even enters the window, keeping the interior pleasantly cool. The heat-reflective fabric is available in both opaque and transparent versions. Both fabrics offer equally effective heat protection.
That's why customers choose our sunshade roller blind
- Can be mounted without drilling
- Fits any window
- Privacy and heat protection in one
- High-quality materials
- 100% return policy / satisfaction guarantee

Effective heat protection with our exterior roller blinds
Do you long for a cool apartment in the height of summer? Then our CLIP'N'SHADE exterior roller blind (no drilling required) is the perfect solution for you! It's easy to install without drilling, durable thanks to its long-lasting aluminum profiles, and effectively protects against the summer heat. The special heat-reflective fabric blocks 90-95% of the heat before it even enters the window!
Frequently asked questions about sun blinds and clamp-on blinds
What is a sunshade roller blind?
A sunshade roller blind primarily serves as sun protection for windows. The sunshade roller blind is mounted on the outside of the window and blocks the heat before it enters the interior of the home.
How is a sunshade installed?
There are many different types of sunshade roller blinds. Most of them are attached to the wall using dowels and screws. However, CLIP'N'SHADE clamp-on roller blinds are attached to the outside of the window without causing any damage.
What sizes can I order?
CLIP'N'SHADE sun blinds are available in widths from 60 to 140 cm and heights from 60 to 220 cm. We also manufacture custom sizes. However, the width cannot exceed 140 cm due to manufacturing limitations. You can easily find the perfect sun blind for your window using our configurator. Click here to go to the configurator .
Is a sunshade roller blind suitable for rented apartments?
When it comes to rented apartments, there are two things to keep in mind:
1) No impact on the facade's appearance : The components of the sunshade roller blind are designed to be as unobtrusive as possible. The side guide rails measure 3 x 3 cm, and the cassette measures 6 x 7 cm. The white and gray colors we offer cover the majority of German windows. Should you require a different color for the sunshade roller blind, we can accommodate this for an additional charge.
2) Damage-free installation and removal : Under point 2 “How is a sunshade installed?” it is explained that the installation takes place without any damage.
